On April 1, 2026, we hosted Issa Amro, live from West Bank. Long time Freedom Advocacy Network member and supporter, Karina Q, who also has also presented on two different topics, has kindly brought us our next three guest speakers after her visit to the West Bank a few months ago.
Agenda: Annexation of the West Bank, Hebron city as a case study.
On March 18, we hosted the awesome and courageous Jewish ally Sam Stein. Over the last 7+ years, He has been spending his time on and off in different West Bank villages, literally putting his body on the line to protect Palestinians from settlers and IDF terrorists.
On March 4, 2026, my awesome friend Ala Zaitoun, a human rights advocate and career humanitarian, with experience from UN, IOM and other organizations, led a collaborative discussion on Ethics in Business.
Agenda: Ala Zaitoun will be leading a group discussion on ethics in the business landscape: defining ethical business and breaking it down to more tangible, concrete concepts, we will also examine together some parameters and motivations that foster ethical business environment and products, also discuss profitability and ethics, and finally we will touch on how to make ethics measurable and trackable.
Thank you,

From Amanda and Eberechi: “On September 30, 2025, Eberechi and I began emailing institutions across Canada to ask for their institutional stance on the holocaust and genocide Israel is committing in Palestine; we named this effort Documenting Silence.
While Documenting Silence developed organically and was shaped in September and October of 2025, this work began before September 30, 2025.
We reached out to a total of 70 Canadian institutions/institutions on ‘Canadian soil’ (allegedly), and these are some of the questions we asked most institutions”
On February 18, my new friend Iyas Sartawi shared heartbreaking about the reality and life in Gaza since the so-called “ceasefire”. He will be talking about how Project Hope Palestine is assisting the Palestinians in Gaza.
Agenda:
Talk about life in Palestine/Gaza after ceasefire
Go over Project Hope for Palestine – what it is and how it helps assisting the Palestinians of Gaza
A large portion of Iyas’s own down was confiscated Oct 20, 2025 – number of his family members were shot and some are still going through surgery and recovery
Iyas is from Sarta, hence the name Sartawi
Will focus on Gaza instead of West Bank
Occupation continues to carry out silent genocide
It is the Occupation’s policy to make life difficult for Palestinians
90% of Gaza has already been destroyed
601 Palestinians have been killed since the so called Ceasefire
1200+ ceasefire violations by IDF terrorists
Weekly floods destroyed people’s tents
Even when the tents are new, they are not suitable for human living
Life is very hard in the tents
There is no sense of privacy whatsoever
Over 20,000 children were martyred – many born and killed during the genocide itself
Team is assocaited with many journalists
Donation money is sent to help people in gaza
The Mutual Aid helps with food, medical expenses, schools and individual family expenses
Distribution of aid also considers children’s and other’s emotional needs as well, with entertainment for displaced people, through music, clowns, etc.
They sponsor musicians to entertain orphans and orphanages
Also partner with Civil Defense team to repair and build tents
Also supporting two churches in Gaza, got letters of appreciation from them
Project Hope Palestine is also supporting several schools as well
Got letters of appreciation from hospitals as well
January 28, I was honoured to be hosting the brave and awesome Ibtihal Aboussad – https://www.instagram.com/hal.ib.ti – You may recall her as one of the brave women standing up to Microsoft’s complicity in the genocide of the Palestinian people and publicly and loudly quitting her job at Microsoft. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7BoTBy1aHVM
On January 21, 2026, my friend Gabriele, founder of https://www.metanoia.community/ spoke to us about how to take on Big Tech and big corporations in general. Every single one of us has the power to make a dent against big corporations and vote with our dollars. Gabriele will talk about how to turn this into action.
Agenda:
In this session we will discuss of the ACTIONS that we can all take in order to decentralise power away from Big Corporations, Banks and bureaucracies and back to the local level. With a world spinning out of control, what is needed is a network of de-centralised and self-assembling groups more than corporate giants that centralise everything in the hands of few powerful corporations.
My friend and Freedom Advocacy Network member Roel Zylstra, one of the organizers behind the United For Peace (U4P) campaign educated us on the U4P https://u4pal.com/u4p/ campaign’s goals, history and future plans. This is yet another tool in the belt for struggle for Palestinian liberation.
Agenda:
What is U4P?
• Versus UNSC resolutions and R2P
Why advocate U4P for Palestine?
• As opposed to:
o Boycott – generally by individuals
o Divest – by organizations, including commercial, governmental, and non-gov/commercial
o Sanction – by governments
o Legal – Hind Rajab foundation, etc.
o Material action – Palestine Action, etc.
• United Nations
o UNSC vs UNGA
o History of UNGA votes in 2024, 2025, and 2026
o Votes needed for U4P
• Columbia’s call for U4P
o Undoubtable coercion from the US prevented Colombia presenting its proposal earlier
o Is there a lack of support, perhaps shown by the lack of people at rallies?
• Trump’s plan
o Phase one and two
o Why did all UNSC countries (except Russia and China, who abstained) vote for the Trump plan?
o The inevitable failure of phase two of Trump’s plan due to, for example, lack of details, who provides troops, etc.
o Palestine Authority’s complicity in the genocide of its own people
o Understanding Mahmoud Abbas and the people who work with him
What do Palestinians want?
• PNGO, civil society
• Hamas, other factions
o Details of civilian help, armed troop locations, etc.
What should be done now?
• Continue to spread the word via various channels
• Target citizens in aligned countries to pressure their governments
o Messaging – Tie Palestine’s fate to the fate of regular people in the Global South, including other Arabic countries
• Embargoes? – this will not stop Israel’s genocide in the short term
On Dec 17, we learned about the tragic and currently ongoing genocide of the Sudanese people by our gracious guests Dr Tasabih Hakim and Ansam Ajeeb. The meeting was recorded – please see link below – and I also took extensive notes that appear below.
Agenda:
The proxy war in Sudan and its connection to the Darfur genocide, which began over 30 years ago—not just in the past two years.(Ansam Ajeeb will cover main points of this part)
The issue of human trafficking after the war broke at the Egyptian border (Aswan), where I personally witnessed refugee abuse and attempted abductions during my work at Aswan Training Hospital.
Project Proposal
Links provided by Dr Tasabih Hakim and Ansam Ajeeb:
The issues in Sudan really started in 2003 – multiple rebel groups, SLA and others, rebelled against Sudanese government
Sudanese government armed Janjaweed militia – thousands were killed – 100,000s were displaced
What happened in Darfur was not a civil war, rather a genocide against the civilians
It was the fist genocide of the 21st century
ICC charged some Sudanese officers of crimes against humanity, torture, sexual violence, and other crimes – including use of rape as weapon of war. They deliberately targeted women and girls – raped women in front of their families and husbands – including visibly pregnant women
They did it deliberately raped to “destroy the social fabric of society”
UN concluded that these rapes were deliberately planned
Targeted Zagaleeb and Masawa tribes – specifically targeting indigenous Africans
International actors call is civil war – but it’s actually a “proxy war” – because international actors provide some parties like RSF with weapons, training, etc.
There is always a financial gain from wars
UAE has financed RSF so that they can continue to STEAL AND LOOT Sudanese gold
Saudi Arabia and Egypt are supporting SAF
Russia buys gold as well
They had an open deal with RSF before 2023 – not a secret – Russia backs RSF
China and Iran also sell weapons
US and Western powers are also funding the genocide
Chad and Libya are also arms intermediaries
Some western countries are also selling weapons to RSF, via UAE
These are easily traceable
Journalists, doctors and others who can share stories have been systematically killed
Action request for western audience: Describe the war as a PROXY WAR. Describing it as “civil war” gives a sense of “it’s their problem”. When it’s a proxy war, outside powers are benefiting from
Inside the Yale Report: Tracking Mass Death from Space w/ Nathaniel Raymond
Dr Tasabih Hakim
Before the war, there was free movement between Sudan and Egypt
After the war escalated 2023, Egypt and other neighboring countries close their borders
When borders are closed, human trafficking explodes
Neighboring countries have not been keeping up with their asylum and refugee international obligations
Many of the soldiers are literally children – 14, 15 year olds
They kidnap children and force them to be RSF soldiers
Children who were trafficked are being trained to kill
Before the war, Sudanese children were also trafficked to ride camels in racing
Many children and women ended up as slaves and sex workers in neighboring countries and some as far as Europe
Dr Hakim works at Aswan hospital at the border of Egypt and Sudan
Dr Hakim herself is a refugee
One day 15 refugees ended up at the hospital – and Dr Hakim was basically told to ignore them and not write their reports – and Dr Hakim decided to bring them to her home
Sudanese looking officers who were not actually Sudanese tried to abduct the 15 victims by enticing them with free apartments – but luckily Dr Hakim was able to stop them
Last 3-6 months, many Sudanese have been abducted for no reason
Her family member was abducted and passed away due to lack of medication that was denied by Egyptian authorities

My name is Ollie Wood, I am a digital rights researcher and freelance journalist. For the past 2+ years I have been monitoring censorship in online spaces, though in particular LinkedIn, regarding Israel’s ongoing genocide in occupied Palestine. Since 7th October 2023, corporate owners of social media platforms have poured significant resources into suppressing wide opposition to Israel’s genocide, LinkedIn has is no exception. My work with 7amleh has relayed my findings, namely: Microsoft/LinkedIn’s corporate environment is rife with anti-Palestinian racisms that are invariably feeding its moderation procedure, suppressing user’s digital rights (as well as suppressing the labour rights of it’s employees), all of this, to provide for the Israeli regimes crimes in Gaza. I will be speaking about my findings and other elements of suppression in the digital space on the 10th December 2025.
On December 3, 2025, we had a great meeting with Deepak Negi. We as a movement need to be more intentional, deliberate and strategic in our communication. Deepak did a great job of talking about the theory behind why and also showed many live examples. They were simple lessons, but, profound at the same time.
Agenda:
As a Narrative Strategist, I help individuals, movements, think tanks, and civil society organizations solve problems related to crafting compelling narratives and countering harmful ones—particularly in building public opinion against colonialism, extremism, racism, capitalism, big tech unaccountability and other systems of oppression and discrimination
